Mike Manion, 64, of DC Air has died from cancer.
Mattamy Homes division president Kevin O’Shea sent a note to Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association members saying: “Those who knew Mike best, will remember a consummate professional who was always committed to moving our industry forward. Mike was a strong supporter of the GOHBA participating in many fundraising and organizational efforts. Mike was a key member of the Builder Trade Council designed to bring together industry partners to find the best solutions for the customers that buy the homes each of us has a part in building. Mike has left behind a strong team committed to promoting the principles he so firmly believed in.”
His funeral will be at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Olgivie Rd. with visitation from 11 a.m. until the funeral at 2 p.m.
