Even as plans move forward for a new stadium as part of the Lebreton Flats redevelopment, The Ottawa Senators have announced that Canadian Tire Centre will be renovated to add the Molson Canadian Fan Deck, which the team says will be a dynamic new gathering area for fans to enjoy Senators hockey.
The new area will “allow fans to enjoy the luxury of exclusive premium seating with in-seat service and a unique social atmosphere,” the Senators announced in a news release. “Located in sections 214, 215 and 216 in the visiting end of Canadian Tire Centre, the Molson Canadian Fan Deck will be composed of 264 seats, split between Bar Top Loges, VIP Seats and Suites.”
“Last year we invested heavily in making major renovations to Canadian Tire Centre including the addition of Club Bell,” said team owner and chief executive officer Eugene Melnyk. “One of our ongoing priorities is to enhance the in-arena fan experience every chance we get. We are proud and exceptionally excited to be extending our partnership with Molson Coors Canada where initiatives like the Molson Canadian Fan Deck will showcase their leadership in experiential marketing.”
Construction at Canadian Tire Centre is currently underway, with completion ready before the Senators home-opening game in October 2016.
