Ottawa’s architecture, engineering and construction community has led the way in supporting The Ottawa Hospital Foundation’s cancer research program through the 2015 Do The Ride event on Sept. 13.
Contributions have been pouring in to add to the $8.8 million already raised in the event, previously known as Ride The Rideau.
AEC teams have been leading the fund-raising, led by Robert Merkley’s The Brick Peddlers which (Sept. 3) had raised $283,290
The other top four teams, all from within the industry, include:
- Tomlinson Red Army: $111,012
- Mattamy Homes: $52,485
- Taggart Gear Crew: $41,421
- Boone Flushers: $29199.00
Reflecting the industry’s involvement, many OCN readers have received invitations to contribute and support the campaign and the final totals for 2015 will likely be much higher.
