The Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association (GOHBA) has set a Special General Meeting of Members on Oct. 10 for members to review and approve revised association bylaws to ensure compliance “with new requirements under the Ontario Not-For-Profit Corporations Act, 2010.”

As well, Ian Lee, a professor from Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business, “will share his thoughts on the state of residential construction in Canada, the economy and productivity overall, and how he sees the federal government interacting with our sector moving forward,” the association said in its meeting notice,

The members’-only meeting will be from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Stephenson’s Rental Services, 1575 Diamondview Rd., Carp. Members can register to attend through their GOHBA account or contact Christina Pliatsika at ch*******@go***.ca.

Ottawa Construction News will report after the meeting on Ian Lee’s remarks.
