Westboro Flooring & Décor Inc. says it has purchased Grant’s Tile & Flooring in Kingston, effective Feb. 1.
“With this acquisition, Westboro will now be in a position to expand into the Kingston and surrounding areas, providing top quality flooring and window covering,” Westboro’s president Steven Kimmel said in a statement. “With over 65 staff, 56 years of industry expertise, superior buying power and quality controlled installation processes, we will continue our commitment to excellence in the housing, condominium, retail, commercial and property management markets.”
The business will continue to operate from Grant’s current location at 649 Justus Dr. in Kingston. Former owner Aubrey Penney and manager Tracie Morgan will remain on staff with Westboro Flooring & Décor in Kingston, to facilitate a seamless transition with customers and suppliers and to assist with the future growth of the company, the news release said.
