The Ottawa Police Service Break and Enter Unit is asking for the public’s help to identify and find a man who allegedly broke into three different construction sites between January and February.

Around 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 29, a man reportedly broke into a construction site on Montreal Road. At around 1:15 a.m. on Feb. 14, that man went into another construction site near Wellings Private, and then at around 8:50 p.m. on Feb. 23, he allegedly broke into yet another site on Baseline Road.

The suspect stole tools and large spools of copper wire each time he went into a building.

The man is believed to have also committed similar break-ins in Gatineau. He is described as a white man between the ages of 30 and 40 years old, who is about 6 feet tall and has a large build. He also wears thin frame glasses.
