Ottawa adds $10 million to bring 2018 infrastructure renewal budget to $102 million

Ottawa City Council has approved in February $10 million in additional infrastructure renewal projects, to be funded through the 2018 budget, and bringing the total renewal budget to $102 million.

The additional funds include $6.66 for road renewals, $3 million to renew buildings and parks, and $340,000 for sidewalks and pathways. You can view the projects here:

Road resurfacing — $5.98 million: Additional road resurfacing projects are marked in yellow. Overall road surfacing projects on the “current list” is approximately $14 million;

Buildings and Parks — $1.325 million extra has been allocated for buildings, and $1.675 million for parks

Road preservation treatment — $680,000;

Sidewalk and pathway renewal — $340,000
