The twenty-second annual MSL (Merkey Supply Ltd.) trade show attracted more than 1,200 architects, contractors, home builders, interior designers, engineers and senior government decision makers to a day of seminars, food, information and networking on March 21.
The show has become the largest event of its kind in eastern Ontario, said MSL president Robert Merkley. “If you stay around here for a while, you’ll see virtually everyone who has an interest in the local design and construction community.”
The Hampton Inn show included several seminar and dozens of displays from building materials and technology suppliers. Representatives from The Ottawa Hospital Foundation promoted Ride The Rideau, the September cancer-research fund-raising initiative, which Merkely helped to initiate and which he supports through his Brick Peddlers team.
