The federal government awarded a bid for the Parliament Hill’s west slope and perimeter wall rehabilitation construction work to Graebeck Construction Ltd.
The project’s value is $4.78 million, according to a tender notice published on BuyandSell.gc.ca.
The project includes west slope stabilization, rebuilding of perimeter wall, re-constructing of existing stairway, existing stone masonry retaining walls and stone faced tunnel façades on the Parliament Hill plateau.
The company is expected to close the work within 85 weeks.
