The Lumiere Charity Gala has been annually at the Brookstreet Hotel in support of the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. In its 11th year, for the first time event also included the first annual Keltic Cup Charity Golf Classic. This year’s gala occurred on Sept. 11.
Played at the Marshes Golf Club, the tournament represents a partnership between Brookstreet and Chmiel Architects of Ottawa and included breakfast, lunch, drinks, gifts a pre-gala networking reception and entry to the evening gala. It raised $22,000 towards the cause.
The gala, a partnership between the Brookstreet and Wesley Clover Foundation, featured a nine-course meal with wine pairings, live jazz, a silent and live auction and a fireworks show set over the Marshes Golf Club.
