Construction Specifications Canada (CSC) Ottawa chapter is offering an exclusive look into the manufacturing of security and acoustic opening assemblies with an upcoming technical presentation and guided tour of the AMBICO facility.
The event, scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 24, will provide attendees with a unique opportunity to gain insights into the design, testing and production of these specialized products, according to the event listing.
Organizers say the session will feature a technical presentation focusing on acoustic design testing and production. The discussion will also cover real-world performance considerations, including sound mitigation, fire resistance, security and ADA standards.
Following the presentation, attendees will be taken on a behind-the-scenes guided tour of the Ottawa-based AMBICO manufacturing facility. A light lunch will also be provided for participants.
Space for the specialized tour is highly restricted. Organizers note there are only 20 in-person spots available and urge interested professionals to register early to ensure they do not miss out.
