Provincial government spends $500,000+ on non-profit facility renovations

The provincial government has announced it is investing more than $500,000 through the Partner Facility Renewal Program for repairs and renovations at 13 local non-profit agencies in Ottawa that provide services to people with developmental disabilities, families struggling with domestic abuse and the aboriginal community

Projects announced include:

  • Ottawa-Carleton Association for Persons with Developmental Disabilities is receiving $121,000 for repair and renovation at five of their facilities.
  • Tamir Foundation is receiving $61,000 for repair and renovation at two of their facilities.
  • Minwaashin Lodge – Aboriginal Women’s Support Centre is receiving $35,505 to replace original radiators in shelter.
