Peninsula Construction Inc., based in Fonthill, Ontario, supplies and installs noise walls, guide rails with end treatments, ground mounted and breakaway signs, fencing, pedestrian bridges, and commercial landscaping.
The company has served all government levels, worked with general contractors and completed private projects throughout Ontario for 33 years.
Estimator Aaron Huibers says the company started using the DataBid system a year and a half ago. “DataBid has search capabilities not available through other sites,” he said.
Huibers says this search function allows him to look at specific areas of interest, rather than searching through all recently posted projects.
He says DataBid also allows him to see when his competitors pull plans and who he is bidding against on projects of interest. “There are projects that show up on DataBid that wouldn’t show on other sites,” he says.
