Ottawa City recently celebrated the official reopening of Chaudière Park and Primrose Park.
Key features of Chaudière Park include a new accessible wading pool and preschool play area, a renewed basketball court and shade shelter, green frontage expanded into the park, and new benches, picnic tables, bike racks and decorative fencing.
The final budget for the redevelopment of Chaudière Park was just under $1 million.
The redevelopment of Primrose Park includes a new splash pad and an accessible school-age play area in a “no-dogs” zone at the front of the park, renewal of the green space and the off-leash area for dogs in the balance of the park, and new pathways, lighting, landscaping and park furniture. The final budget for the redevelopment of Primrose Park was $1.23 million.
