Hotel owner Holloway Lodging  is planning to construct residential towers in Ottawa, according to a report by RENX.ca.

The company wants to build the towers at its Carling Avenue property.

According to the plan, the development would take place in two phases.

The first phase calls for the development of two residential towers for apartments and/or condominiums. The second phase would contain three more towers as well as a park, expanding the estimated $200-million development to about 900 residential units, according to the report.

Holloway hopes to obtain a building permit early in 2019 and start construction on the first building
