A private drone operator (with the nick “Captain Drone”) has posted an aerial video, offering a unique perspective of the Confederation Line LRT construction process.
The images show the eastern end of the line, starting at the University of Ottawa and ending at the Blair Transitway station. Footage of the construction was shot earlier this month.
Construction of the Blair, Cyrville, St-Laurent, Tremblay and Hurdman LRT stations are underway. Work has still to start at the uOttawa and Lees stations.
The project should be completed by 2018. Construction started in 2013.
