City reports $172.1 million in building/demolition permits in May

The City of Ottawa has reported $172.1 million in building and demolition permits in May.

The largest project recorded, at $19.5 million to construct a six-story retirement residence and care facility, was issued to Riverstone (Sterling Park) Limited Partnership at 310 Titan Pvt.

Ottawa Salus Corp received three building permits for 1486, 1490 and 1494 Clementine Blvd., each for $4,921,127. The permit documentation lists the contractor as “unknown” though this project relates to Salus’ plans to provide sustainable housing for residents with mental illnesses.
