Here are the latest Ontario College of Trades apprenticeship ratio review decisions in Category D.

Sprinkler and fire protection installer

Previous: 1:1; new 1:1 (unchanged)

Powerline technician

Previous: 1:1; new 1:1 (unchanged)

Electrician: construction and maintainance; and Electrician: domestic and rural

Previous: 1:1 (first two apprentices); 1:2 (to eight journeypersons/four apprentices), 1:3 (additional apprentices above eight journepersos)

New:   1:1 (first two apprentices); 1:2 (from four to 10 journepersons/fiveapprentices); 1:3 (additional apprentices above 10 journeypersons).

(The proposal is the same for domestic and rural eletrician, except that for work in the low-rise residential sector only, for evey two journeypersons after the tenth journeyperson, one additional apprentice.)

Drywall, accoustic and lathing applicator

Previous: 1:1 and 4:1; new 1:1 and 4:1 (unchanged)

Drywall finisher and plasterer

Previous: 1:1 and 3:1; new 1:1 and 3:1 unchanged.

Carpenters
